Around 150 km north-west of Nainital in Uttarakhand, lies the one of its kind reserve, the Jim Corbett National Park. The reserve was established in 1936 and has the distinction of being India’s first national park. The magical landscape of Corbett is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. It area comprises of hills, marshy depressions, riverine belts, grasslands and large lake. It is among the few tiger reserves in India that allows overnight stays in the lap of the National Park. Nature watch and wildlife viewing in the park is done in an open four-wheeler Jeep and on elephant back. Sheltering a healthy population of tigers and rare species like Otters and the endemic fish eating crocodile, the national park is one of the most sought after destinations for the wildlife buffs.

Day 1

  • We will start early Morning from Delhi for your journey to Corbett National park (258 Km / 5 hours 30 min) Rest of the day is for your leisure.

Day 2

  • Tour around Jim Corbett National Park, with stunning wildlife locations and huge tiger population, along with vast number of endangered species of flora and fauna, will provide a haven to all the wildlife lovers in India and abroad. The national park also houses approximately 600 different species of birds.
  • The sight of Royal Bengal tigers among the dense forests will humble and excite you at the same time. Other wild animals in the national park include varied species of Elephants, Leopards, Indian Python, Crocodiles, etc.
  • You will also view the Dhikuli, a beautiful rest house, in the Park. From Dhikuli, you can be a witness to valley’s extreme beauty. You will also get a chance to board the elephant safari in the jungle
  • Evening for your leisure.

Day 3

  • Time to say goodbye to Corbett and drive back to Delhi.
